The Bah谩始铆 Faith was founded in 19th-century Persia by Bah谩始u鈥檒l谩h, who was exiled to Acre for leaving Islam. He died and was buried in Bahj铆 near Acre. The shrine features 19 terraces and is the resting place of the B谩b, the forerunner of Bah谩始u鈥檒l谩h. In 2008, the shrine was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The gardens are a place of peace and serenity, visited by thousands of tourists each year.
